MARDI GRAS IS NEAR!

Hello World:
As the months fly by, we are heading directly into a prime party season: Mardi Gras. With our beads locked and loaded, Gumbohead on deck, and a wailing menu of Cajun favorites we assume that Mardi Gras will be hitting us up for a midafternoon party after the awesomeness of Soulard Mardi Gras parade turns into a relaxed state.

As promotions goes, I foresee our efforts doing some good. We have been hitting the STL surface at a soft, swift pace--trying not to overdo the exclamation of how awesome we see this Mardi Gras being, but still letting people know we are here, and we will be your rest stop for anything you need: Music, dancing, drinks, bathrooms, beads, food, meeting zone, parking, etc. We love when there are events going on and we can accommodate all the people walking by, or driving by with what we have to offer.

Music Updates:
Cafe Soul hit off their first "last Saturday of the month" with the Old Rock House. We just organized a three month deal with Nicole of Cafe Soul, that will save a place for each LAST SATURDAY dedicated to none other than the original St. Louis, and national level R&B and Soul musicians and artists. Its a pure joy to have the sensuality and deep rhythm and blues that they will be bringing us. Teresa Payne turned heads, like always with her voice and we look forward to her again at Sweet Soul Spot, which is EACH 2nd WEDNESDAY of the month: so its like the double dose of R&B with these two events. Sweet Soul Spot kicks off their Showcase tomorrow at the OLD ROCK HOUSE.

On the House:
If you have not subscribed to our monthly newsletter, ON THE HOUSE, then you should. Please contact: Lauren Colvin: lauren.colvin@oldrockhousestl.com for info on signing up: free, and informative ON THE HOUSE is the devine eBlast for the busy person on the go. Lets you know about upcoming shows that we believe will be worth every penny, and in house updates regarding our happy hours, menu, parties, etc. You must be informed!

We are moving forward in so many outlets. With partnering up with local media outlets to get the word out about the upcoming All Star Game, to being on board with 105.7 The Point for future shows, and hosting parties for Pointfest. We are surely making headway toward our goal at being the IT SPOT for live music and promotional parties.

Be sure to check our fliers in the upcoming issue of RFT, and out and about in your nooks in St. Louis.
